Tune In for PMHI's July Webinar

Monday, July 7th • 3:00 PM - 4:30 PM • Irish Time

ADHD is often misunderstood, especially in women—and even more so during the major life transition of motherhood. This presentation explores how ADHD uniquely impacts women during pregnancy and the postpartum period, highlighting the role of fluctuating hormones, identity shifts, and increased cognitive and emotional demands. We’ll examine common challenges and symptom presentations, as well as the often-overlooked experience of sensory overwhelm and maternal guilt. Through clinical insights and a real-world case vignette, attendees will learn practical, compassionate strategies for supporting neurodivergent mothers in a way that validates their experience and honors their strengths.
