Have you ever wondered why clients with seemingly similar experiences can present so differently in therapy? Whether navigating infertility, pregnancy, or the transition to parenthood, the way couples relate to each other profoundly shapes their journey. An intervention that proves supportive and transformative for one couple may trigger resistance or distress in another.
This webinar will delve into the complex and fascinating world of couple dynamics. We will explore the unconscious forces that shape emotions and behaviours in intimate relationships, and consider how these dynamics influence perinatal mental health. You’ll also discover practical, compassion-focused approaches and interventions you can integrate into your work—whether you come from a psychotherapeutic background or another support profession.
